I have been perusing your comments. Thank you for your kind words. I see that many of your questions center on a few common questions, so I will try to answer them in this post. If you have further questions, please leave a comment on this post.
PURPOSE
The purpose of this blog is to strengthen Judeo-Christian moral values in our families. We do this in a low-stress, non-threatening way by providing educational topics for dinner conversation with your family in the areas of current events, history, culture, and parenting. Judeo-Christian values are no longer politically correct in public schools; therefore I hope it helps to provide parents with this alternative resource.
Some articles relate to current events of the day. In addition to that, I have a “Dinner Talk Theme” for each month, and present articles corresponding to that theme. The theme for December is Joy, and as I am presently vacationing with my family for the Christmas holidays, most of the posts have been videos of Christmas music.
HOW TO RECEIVE THE NEWSLETTER
Topics are posted 5 days a week. This is my newsletter. You can receive the posts by email as follows. Scroll to the top right-hand side bar. There is a section that says Follow Blog Via Email. Simply click on the gray Follow button, and enter your email. This way you will know in the most direct way when a topic has been posted. You can also subscribe to the feeds.
Starting in January 2013 I will post a monthly letter to you like this, and give you a preview of the upcoming articles of the month.
The theme for January will be Lifestyle Resolutions.
SOURCES
Every month I post bios of individuals who I believe have made significant contributions to our Judeo-Christian culture: artists, composers, writers, and outstanding historical leaders whose birthdays fall in the given month.
These bios are usually excerpts from Wikipedia. When I was growing up we had a set of hard copy encyclopedias, in which we were constantly looking things up. This is the same idea. The Parenting Value of the month is from Richard and Linda Eyre. I also use articles from American Family Association and other sources from which I read widely.
STRESS MANAGEMENT
This page has suggestions for reducing stress in our lives– physically and spiritually. From time to time I will add links which I may think are helpful. Coming Soon: music that both soothes and inspires.
PRODUCTS
Several of you have asked about an e-book on this subject. I have written an e-book, Epic Stories for Character Education. A regrettable number of young people are losing their faith during their high school and college education. They are taught that the epic stories from the Bible are myths. Use this Biblical Guide to the Book of Mormon: Another Testament of Jesus Christ, to prove the Bible is true and bring your children to Christ. Non-Doctrinal. Understandable for all ages.
Some of you have been asking for a “donate” button. Thank you kindly. I’m not sure if or when I can do that. However, I will be creating a products page where you can find recommended products, which perform the same purpose as advertising,without the blatant banners on the home page.

You are welcome to re-blog any of my material. All I ask is that you create a link back to my site. You can do that by simply copying the link of my page in your browser and pasting it in your own blog. I always add attribution to my posts when I use articles by other authors.
Presently I’m not looking for guest authors. If you wish me to “guest” on your blog, simply re-blog my post, as shown above.
Some of you have expressed concerns about your original work being taken without your permission. Always place the copyright symbol, date, and your name prominently on your original articles. According to Ezine Articles online, this protects you.
MY TEMPLATE
I use a free template from WordPress.com. They have hundreds to choose from at no cost, and the support is excellent. Please don’t ask me to resolve your technical issues; I have no expertise in that. It probably has to do with your own server, computer, or device. WordPress is a widely used platform and should meet most technical needs.
Did you subscribe to the comments, and are getting flooded with too many comments? You should have an “unsubscribe” link in your email. Try unsubscribing. If that doesn’t work, check on WordPress Forums. There should be a solution for it there. I hope that helps.
