How to Protect your State from Obamacare
By voting with the tyrannical Obama administration, Congress is depriving us of our representation. It is time for us as citizens to act by writing to our state governments. This will take some work on your part, but our liberty is worth it.
Congress is not displaying the spinal fortitude to withstand the Obama political machine; thus we are revisiting taxation without representation. If you and your family do not want to be governed by Chicago-style politics, this is your chance to exercise your tenth amendment rights and require your state to stand firm for the Constitution, in the form of nullification laws. Below is a link to help you find your state (not federal) government officials to contact them with this information.

3. Sample Letter. Below this information (at the bottom of this post) is a sample letter. After you have found the contact information of your state government officials, you may use the sample letter, editing it to personalize it, or write your own. There are four main steps that can be taken to reject, refuse and/or nullify the Affordable Care Act on a state level. While each one of these steps alone won’t result in a nullification of the act nationally, they’re all an important piece of the puzzle. An act of resistance in one state leads to courage and doing the same in another. At the same time, some courageous types might get the notion that they can turn it up a notch and take a stronger stand in their state than you have in yours.

VERSION 1, NULLIFICATION
VERSION 2, NULLIFICATION w/PENALTIES
HEALTH CARE NULLIFICATION ACT, V2 – w/PENALTIES
An Act to render null and void certain unconstitutional laws enacted by the Congress of the United States, taking control over the health insurance industry and mandating that individuals purchase health insurance under threat of penalty.
SECTION 1. The legislature of the State of ____________ finds that:
1. The People of the several states comprising the United States of America created the federal government to be their agent for certain enumerated purposes, and nothing more.
2. The Tenth Amendment to the United States Constitution defines the total scope of federal power as being that which has been delegated by the people of the several states to the federal government, and all power not delegated to the federal government in the Constitution of the United States is reserved to the states respectively, or to the people themselves.
3. The assumption of power that the federal government has made by enacting the “Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act” interferes with the right of the People of the State of _____________ to regulate health care as they see fit, and makes a mockery of James Madison’s assurance in Federalist #45 that the “powers delegated” to the Federal Government are “few and defined”, while those of the States are “numerous and indefinite.”
SECTION 2. NEW LAW
A new section of law to be codified in the [STATE] Statutes as Section [NUMBER] of Title [NUMBER], unless there is created a duplication in numbering, reads as follows:
A. The Legislature of the State of _______________ declares that the federal law known as the “Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act,” signed by President Barack Obama on March 23, 2010, is not authorized by the Constitution of the United States and violates its true meaning and intent as given by the Founders and Ratifiers, and is hereby declared to be invalid in this state, shall not be recognized by this state, is specifically rejected by this state, and shall be considered null and void and of no effect in this state.
B. It shall be the duty of the legislature of this State to adopt and enact any and all measures as may be necessary to prevent the enforcement of the “Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act” within the limits of this State.
C. Any official, agent, or employee of the United States government or any employee of a corporation providing services to the United States government that enforces or attempts to enforce an act, order, law, statute, rule or regulation of the government of the United States in violation of this act shall be guilty of a felony and upon conviction must be punished by a fine not exceeding five thousand dollars ($5,000.00), or a term of imprisonment not exceeding five (5) years, or both.
D. Any public officer or employee of the State of ____________ that enforces or attempts to enforce an act, order, law, statute, rule or regulation of the government of the United States in violation of this act shall be guilty of a misdemeanor punishable by imprisonment in the county jail not exceeding two (2) years or by a fine not exceeding One Thousand Dollars ($1,000.00) or both such fine and imprisonment.
E. Any aggrieved party shall also have a private action against any person violating the provisions of subsections (C) or (D).
SECTION 3. This act takes effect upon approval by the Governor.

Whereas:
- Obamacare was passed illegally and against the will of the people
- The recent election was fraught with massive voter fraud
- President Obama has clearly demonstrated that he will not be bound by the Constitution
- President Obama is over-riding the Constitution by issuing numerous executive orders
- The first ten amendments of the United States Constitution provide rights for the states and the people to protect themselves against tyranny
- Section 3 of Amendment 14 states that government officials on federal and state level are not to rebel against the Constitution (As this admonition includes both state and federal officials, it cannot be construed to mean that the states cannot stand against a federal government which is violating the Constitution)
Despite Speaker Boehner’s best intentions, these are times when tyranny has pushed aside any prospects of “working together.” Founders Benjamin Franklin and Thomas Jefferson declared unequivocally that we must always be on guard, and even do battle against tyranny. On the federal level, the Constitution is being trampled, even demolished. Therefore our only hope resides with the States. If our state is one of the states which are financially solvent., it makes no sense to roll over and let Mr. Obama and his administration plunder us into bankruptcy.
It has come to my attention that the Constitution (specifically the tenth amendment) provides for the states to pass nullification bills. The states can review all regulations and laws from the Feds—past, present, and future—and if the state determines that it is not constitutional, the state can nullify it.
Many of you are experts in the legal field; that’s why we elected you! Our state may be one of many who have filed suit against Obamacare when it was first passed. President Obama has also sought revenge on the red states by slapping huge fines on those states which are refusing to enter into the exchange. What gives him the authority to do that? We are revisiting taxation without representation.
Many governors are choosing to embrace ObamaCare’s Medicaid expansion, even after the Supreme Court ruled that the federal government can’t coerce them into taking it. This is a guarantee of increased government spending on a program that is already fiscally unsustainable.
As our state government, you will get a lot of pressure. I beseech you to hold firm. Obamacare will crush us, the taxpayers and citizens. When fully implemented, a family of 5 could face a minimum of $20,000 in premiums per year. As a state, we have the right to oppose this unconstitutional measure. It is gross taxation without representation. Included here is information regarding nullification bills that fiscally solvent states can use to protect their citizens from tyranny. National Congress has been co-opted. You are our last line of defense. Please don’t let us down.
I urge you, as our state’s governing officials, to stand firm, and to abide by the Constitution—the Supreme law of the land–and by no other. Please use the powers and rights granted to you by the Constitution and by your constituents to stand against tyranny and protect the people of your state.
