Abuse Report: Obama, Abortion, Food Stamps

Abuse Report—

There are so many government and other abuses now that there is not room to report them all, so they will be summarized and listed in one report, with links to the complete article; this month: abortion, food stamp abuse, Christians as targets

keyoldIt is an imperative duty that we owe to all the rising generation, and to all the pure in heart—

There are many yet on the earth among all sects, parties, and denominations, who are blinded by the subtle craftiness of men, whereby they lie in wait to deceive, and who are only kept from the truth because they know not where to find it—therefore we should waste and wear out our lives in bringing to light all the hidden things of darkness. ~Doctrine and Covenants 123:11-13

baby_say_what1) Obama Calls on Nation to Recommit to Abortion

We reaffirm our steadfast commitment to protecting a woman’s access to safe, affordable health care and her constitutional right to privacy, including the right to reproductive freedom. And we resolve to reduce the number of unintended pregnancies, support maternal and child health, and continue to build safe and healthy communities for all our children. Because this is a country where everyone deserves the same freedom and opportunities to fulfill their dreams.”

Obama’s cringe-worthy remarks about slaying babies

While abortion foes defend ‘inalienable right to life’ at D.C. rally

Alyssa Farah
House Majority Leader Rep. Eric Cantor, R-Va., on Wednesday assured people assembled for the 2014 March for Life that, “We will prevail in securing a culture of life in America.

“The truth is there is an inalienable right to life. This is not just a political truth subject to the whims of men,” he said.

He was among the speakers at a rally that preceded Wednesday’s march to the U.S. Supreme Court, which 41 years ago decided the Constitution contained the right to abort an unborn child at any point in a pregnancy.

President Obama, in a statement from the White House, used the anniversary of Roe v. Wade to promise that America “is a country where everyone deserves the same freedom and opportunities to fulfill their dreams.”

Except that “everyone” for Obama, described as the most pro-abortion president in history, apparently does not include the unborn.

His statement talked about a woman’s choices about her body and her health and renewed his dedication “to protecting a woman’s access to safe, affordable health care and her constitutional right to privacy, including the right to reproductive freedom.”

But his only reference to the unborn called them “unintended pregnancies.”

infants-340x1612) China’s 1-child policy still forces abortion

Critic: Announcement about population control change falls short

China’s announcement that it is relaxing its one-child only policy, which since its launch in the 1970s has subjected countless women to forced abortions, sometimes in the ninth month of pregnancy, falls short, according to an expert on China’s strategy.

Far short.

“The problem with the one child policy is not the number of children ‘allowed,’” said Reggie Littlejohn, president of Womens Rights Without Frontiers. “Rather, it is the fact that the [government] is telling women how many children they can have and then enforcing that limit through forced abortion, forced sterilization and infanticide.”

Xinhua, the official government mouthpiece, this week announced that “China will loosen its decades-long one-child population policy, allowing couples to have two children if one of them is an only child.”
According to the report, “China will implement this new policy while adhering to the basic state policy of family planning, according to the decision on major issues concerning comprehensively deepening reforms, which was approved at the Third Plenary Session of the 18th CPC Central Committee held from Nov. 9 to 12 in Beijing.

“The birth policy will be adjusted and improved step by step to promote long-term balanced development of the population in China,” the report said.

“‘Relaxing the policy will keep China’s birth rate at a stable level,’ said Guo Zhenwei, a family-planning official with the National Health and Family Planning Commission.”

“The minor reform will not ‘ease’ the one child policy,” said Littlejohn, “It will merely tweak it.”
“While we are glad for the second babies who will be born under this adjustment, instituting a two-child policy in certain, limited circumstances will not end forced abortion or forced sterilization,” she said. “Even if all couples were allowed two children, there is no guarantee that the CCP will cease their appalling methods of enforcement. Regardless of the number of children allowed, women who get pregnant without permission will still be dragged out of their homes, strapped down to tables and forced to abort babies that they want, even up to the ninth month of pregnancy. It does not matter whether you are pro-life or pro-choice on this issue. No one supports forced abortion, because it is not a choice.”

She continued, “Further, instituting a two-child policy will not end gendercide. Indeed, areas in which two children currently are allowed are especially vulnerable to gendercide, the sex-selective abortion of females. According to the 2009 British Medical Journal study of 2005 national census data, in nine provinces, for ‘second order births’ where the first child is a girl, 160 boys were born for every 100 girls.”

She explained that in Jiangsu and Anhui provinces, for the second child, there were 190 boys for every hundred girls born.

“Sex selective abortion accounts for almost all the excess males,” that study explained.

“Because of this gendercide, there are an estimated 37 million Chinese men who will never marry because their future wives were terminated before they were born. This gender imbalance is a powerful, driving force behind trafficking in women and sexual slavery, not only in China, but in neighboring nations as well.”

Xinhua reported that part of the driving force is that the nation is aging, and there are too few workers.

“China’s labor force, at about 940 million, decreased by 3.45 million year on year in 2012, marking the first ‘absolute decrease.’ The labor force is estimated to decrease by about 29 million over the current decade,” the report said.

US-COURT-SCIENCE-BIOTECH-FILES3) Guess What Group is Getting Food Stamps at an Alarming Rate

Rachel Sheffield

Food stamp rolls have been growing rapidly. But what many may not realize is that participation among able-bodied adults without dependents (ABAWDs) has been skyrocketing compared to the total number of participants. That’s just one reason Congress should reform the food stamp program in the farm bill now under consideration. In just four years, the number of able-bodied adults without dependents (ABAWDs) on the food stamp rolls skyrocketed by over 2 million. While overall food stamp use grew by 53 percent between Fiscal Year 2007 and Fiscal Year 2010 (from about 26 million to nearly 40 million), it more than doubled among able-bodied adults without dependents during this time–from 1.7 million to 3.9 million–an increase of  roughly 127 percent.  Food stamp spending today is roughly $80 billion, double what it was in Fiscal Year 2008.

Helping those in need means helping them rise above government dependence. Unfortunately, self-sufficiency seems to be kicked to the bottom of the list all too often when it comes to reforming the nation’s broken welfare system. It’s time for Congress to realize that helping individuals means a hand-up, not merely a handout.

4) General: U.S. Christians targeted for murder

Lt. Gen. Jerry Boykin, the executive vice president for the Family Research Council, is blasting the Southern Poverty Law Center for still maintaining – a year after it was linked to a domestic terror case – an online feature that identifies the family group as a “hate” organization.

Corkins admitted he picked FRC because the organization was listed as an “anti-gay” hate group by the SPLC.

FRC promotes traditional Judeo-Christian beliefs about the family and homosexuality, but SPLC claims the organization’s “real specialty is defaming gays and lesbians.”

WND has documented the Obama administration’s FBI and Pentagon using SPLC as an authoritative source of information to characterize Christian organizations as hate groups, including the SPLC’s characterization of FRC.

Corkins, a former volunteer at an LGBT community center, pleaded guilty to terrorism.
It was during an interview with the FBI Corkins fingered the SPLC.

Asked how he picked the FRC to attack, Corkins stated, “It was a, uh, Southern Poverty Law, lists, uh, anti-gay groups. I found them online. I did a little bit of research, went to the website, stuff like that.”

The FBI interview with Corkins included this exchange:

FBI: “What was your intention … You’re … a political activist you said?”

Corkins: “Yeah, I wanted to kill the people in the building and then smear a Chicken-fil-A sandwich on their face.”

FBI: “And you, what was your intention when you went in there with the gun?”

Corkins: “Uh, it was to kill as many people as I could.”
