Identifying Core Values, False Teachers and Fake News Media

In the midterms this year, if you want a free, prosperous, safe, and GREAT America, vote for Republicans and Common Sense. Don’t be taken in by the Democrats, AKA socialists, communists, and Islamists, who will return us to the misery of the Biden era.

How to Identify Candidates’ Core Values

by C. A. Davidson

The Story of the Emperor’s New Clothes

emperor's new clothesThis story appears to be told for children, but it is really a brilliant and very famous satire. Sometimes children are more honest than adults.

“The Emperor’s New Clothes” (Danish: Kejserens nye Klæder) is a short tale by Hans Christian Andersen about two weavers who promise an Emperor a new suit of clothes invisible to those unfit for their positions or incompetent. The Emperor cannot see the cloth himself, but pretends that he can for fear of appearing unfit for his position or stupid; his ministers do the same. When the Emperor parades before his subjects in his new clothes, a child cries out, “But he isn’t wearing anything at all!” The tale has been translated into over a hundred languages. (Wikipedia)

In this election season, it is important for us to determine which  candidate has integrity.

Which Candidate Is Genuine, and Has Integrity;

Which Candidate Is Deceiving or Being Deceived?

What News Sources are Available?

Eternal vigilance is the price of liberty. – Thomas Jefferson

erasing historyWhen asked facts from history or even current events, many young adults are unable to answer. In a nation whose freedom is the envy of the world, the government schools do not teach history or facts about current events. So have we as parents done our part in teaching our children responsible citizenship?

Every wise leader knows that you cannot make good decisions based on bad data, or on inadequate information.

So the first step in wise voting is to become well informed. Start with the facts. In an emotional campaign season, this may not be easy to do, because politicians who are not honest will tell you what you want to hear, but they won’t tell you how they have voted.

What News Sources are Available?

  • distrust mediaIs the mainstream media on television or in newspapers a reliable source of news? Since the installment of Obama, the mainstream media has exclusively  favored his minions and policies. This is a very strong bias, and has become a detriment to truth. There is a great deal of news covered on the internet that is left out of television media.  There are also a multitude of podcasts and blogs that give you  in-depth information.
  • Epoch Times
  • Breitbart.com

So it boils down to this question: Whom can you trust?

Character does still matter, after all is said and done. In fact, your ability to discern the character, or core values, of the candidate is the only way you will know if you can believe what he is saying. Quite simply, good character means that the person’s deeds during the years of his adult life match his words during the campaign season. It’s called integrity.

Does the End Justify the Means?

Procrustes was a legendary robber of ancient Greece noted for stretching or cutting off the legs of his victims to adapt them to the length of his bed. ~Webster Dictionary

ProcrustesSome people believe that the end justifies the means. In other words, you may think that your way is better than your opponent’s way. Since you believe your goal is better, it doesn’t matter how you achieve that goal, as long as you get your way. Lying or stealing or forcing others to do your will is OK. Even abusing the legal system— like voting illegally (busing in non-citizens to vote for you), or ignoring the Constitution, bypassing Congress, appointing non-elected bureaucrats, and issuing hundreds of dictatorial decrees— is OK. As long as you achieve your goal. Would you trust such a person?

Do You Trust  These People ?

wolf in sheep's clothing1. A thief steals money and then lies about his deed. He never feels sorry for his victim, because his goal is more important than the way he achieves it. His only sorrow is if he gets caught.

2. A tyrant allows only his own viewpoint. He suppresses any speech that opposes his view, or even kills people who disagree with him. No matter how much he smiles, whatever he says will be suspect.

3. A news anchorman discovered that certain documents were forged. Nevertheless, he claimed he was justified in using those documents, because they agreed with his viewpoint.

4. Another news anchorman said that when you get caught, then you have to apologize.

Character-based Election Criteria

The government which robs Peter to pay Paul, can always count on the support of Paul.
~George Bernard Shaw

ConstitutionThere are two philosophies which dominate our politics. At the founding of our country, a liberal was someone who wanted liberty. The Founding Fathers wanted to change the colonial government and become independent. They wanted to liberate themselves from the British monarchy. They wanted the states to have rights, but they knew there must be a degree of federalism, so that the entire nation could be united. They knew there had to be a balance.

The only thing they wanted the national government to do was protect life, liberty, and property, and defend the nation against foreign aggressors. That is all. The rest of the government was delegated to the states. The Tories, or supporters of the British crown, were considered to be “conservative” because they wanted to keep the monarchy the way it was, or conserve it.

democrats history for slaveryToday things are reversed. Today, Liberals want to change things, but they are not breaking away from a monarchy. They are not declaring independence; they are declaring dependence. They want to change the Constitution; they want the federal government to become more powerful. They don’t want the people to be independent, like the Founding Fathers did.

They want the people to be dependent on the government. As they have made more and more people dependent on the government, the liberals have become more and more powerful. Through their political connections many liberals have become extremely wealthy, although they always say they hate wealthy people. They tend to support policies which plunder, or confiscate, people’s private property.

religious freedomToday, conservatives want to preserve the Constitution; they want to preserve the traditional Judeo-Christian values that this nation was founded on. They want to conserve the national treasure, instead of spending it all. They want to keep the government limited.

1. UNSELFISHNESS.

Does the candidate put the safety and security of the nation, and the freedom of the people, above his personal ambitions, even at the risk of losing the election?

2. PAST RECORD.

What were the candidate’s actions during the past 5 years? 10 years? 20 years?

rockwell pledge flag3. UNIFIED.

Does the candidate:

• Engage in irrelevant personal attacks?
• Foster class envy in economic issues?
• Favor one group in society over others?
• Take responsibility for his own actions, or always blame someone else?
• Stick to the issues?
• Treat everyone with respect, regardless of political viewpoint?
• Honor the sacrifices of American troops?
• Show respect to allies who have supported our country?
• Hold American sovereignty inviolate?
Listen to and respect the voice of the people he represents?
• Match actions and words?

Honor and respect the Constitution of the United States? Does he love America?

4. MORAL CLARITY

Does the candidate:

• Favor freedom of speech, even if he disagrees with what is being said?
• Apply the same standard of conduct to himself and his party as to everyone else?
• Base his actions on principles that support life, liberty, and private property?
• Respect the religious beliefs of people who do not agree with him politically?

integrity5. INTEGRITY

Does the candidate:

• Make his actions consistent with his words?
• Abuse his power?
• Obey the law, or put himself above the law?
•Use his power to plunder the people?

ID false teachersAbove all, look at the candidate’s actions. Are they good for America, or not? The oldest and most reliable measurement is– “By their Fruits” you shall know them, whether they are good or evil.
