Action Alert: The reality is that Obama’s executive order on amnesty is what is causing this latest influx of illegal immigrants across our southern border. At the very least, the message to minors in Central America was that if you come to the U.S. young enough, you can plan on staying without fear of deportation. “Obama Will Take Care of Us”

“Obama will take care of us” is the phrase Chris Cabrera, vice president in the National Border Patrol Council Local 3307, has heard quite often from both children and adults crossing the border illegally.

In his interview with World Net Daily, he explained how the focus was: “Where is my permiso? Where is my permission to go north, so I can get my medical care and my schooling and all that? President Obama is going to take care of us and make sure we’re all OK.” The border veteran commented how it seems like they are “coming prepared to game the U.S. immigration system.” [1]

Cabrera’s comments reveal the motivation behind those leaving their native land does not necessarily line up with the picture pro-amnesty advocates are painting. According to them, children are fleeing impoverished countries that are wrought with drugs, violence, cartels and other types of atrocities. Yet, the El Paso Intelligence Center (EPIC) intel report from July 7, 2014 shows there has been “‘a decline in per capita homicide rates’ in Guatemala, Honduras, and El Salvador since fiscal year 2011.” [2] If this is the case, there should be a drop in those seeking refuge, not tens of thousand more. Border Patrol: U.S. accepting them because crimes not done in U.S.

McALLEN, Texas – As the Obama administration struggles to define the current wave of unaccompanied minors as a tale of refugees escaping violence, government border officials are telling a frighteningly different story of the infiltration of criminal gang members and confessed murderers along with thousands of potential recruits.

Some 70 percent of the youths – boys and girls alike – have been raped or otherwise sexually assaulted on their dangerous trip north to the Rio Grande, according to officials.

Chris Cabrera, a Border Patrol agent for nearly 13 years and a vice president in the National Border Patrol Council Local 3307, spoke to WND and Rep. Steve Stockman, R-Texas, in an exclusive interview at the Rio Grande border in McAllen, Texas, Saturday.

WND asked Cabrera what the Border Patrol and the Department of Homeland Security do when they find out an illegal immigrant teenager from Central America is a gang member or a murderer.

“What do we do?” he answered. “Well, they haven’t committed a crime in the United States, so they’re good to go, and we send them north, even if they admit they have committed a murder.”
